The Second Edition of the Stunt Festival Concludes Successfully

After two days filled with action, film screenings, engaging panels, stunt workshops, and the presentation of the Pegasus Trophy, the 2nd edition of the Stunt Festival – 3, 2, 1 Action! officially concluded on Sunday, April 27.

This year’s program featured stunt teams of both Croatian and international performers: STUNT ACTION TEAM, bringing together top stunt professionals from Croatia and Slovenia under the leadership of Goran Stjepanović; CAMPUS UNIVERS CASCADES (CUC) from France, a professional training center dedicated to stunt techniques in the film and entertainment industry; and SIMONE BELLI’S TEAM from Italy, composed of elite performers of the most demanding stunts, led by world-class action choreographer and stunt coordinator Simone Belli from Milan.

The Festival also welcomed film industry professionals and special guests, including the Spectacula Gladiatoria Association (Pula gladiators) and elite gymnast Marijo Možnik.

On Friday, visitors enjoyed street fight demonstrations, a fire stunt performance, and a motorcycle stunt, while a special act was prepared by young actors from Zakon Teatra. On Sunday in Novigrad na Dobri, a female stunt team performed a chase sequence, and Simone Belli’s Italian team presented an original action performance. Visitors also had the opportunity to try archery thanks to the Dubovac Archery Club, and members of the Society of Friends of Novigrad na Dobri Frankopan introduced their work.

A three-member expert jury awarded the Pegasus Trophy for Best Female Stunt to Croatian stunt performer Stella Dikšić, while the trophy for Best Male Stunt went to German stunt performer Carl Stück.

The Festival was held under the patronage of the City of Karlovac, the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, Karlovac County, and the Karlovac Tourist Board.
